William Armstrong Public School is a JK-8 public school with a current enrolment of about 330 students. The school was built in 1967.
The outdoor facilities include a baseball diamond, soccer fields, a basketball court and a playground. Our property is adjacent to Town of Markham property which includes additional play structures and soccer field.
William Armstrong Public School was named after Captain Wm. Armstrong (1792-1878), an early Markham resident who was active in many aspects of local development such as roads, agriculture, land and schooling.
